I was trying to remember what I was doing 10 years ago when the planes hit the twin towers. I remember taking a bath and listening to Kix 96.7 while I was in the tub, avoiding school at all costs. Brittney gave me a ride, and the TV's where on when I got into my sewing classroom. I don't remember feeling much.
However, I asked Kendall what he was doing 10 years ago (knowing he was already a MARINE by then) and he said he was at the chow hall at camp pendalton. He was talking with a fellow MARINE who also happened to be from New York. They then started to discuss "what happens now?" Pack your bags and leave them packed. Get ready for IRAQ.
I can't even to begin to express my thoughts of how grateful I am for my MARINE, who has risked his life for this wonderful country. I am THANKFUL to our heavenly father who has protected Kendall so he may find the gospel and then find me. On this date 9/11 I am sorry for the people who lost loved one because they risked and offered their lives to help people on that awful day 10 years ago.
